You can do sequencing with pictures depending on the grade. I would go with the moral or value learned from the story. Everyone wants to eat the bread but no one wants to help - the lesson here is universal depending on the age of the child! it is a classic book!You can do beginning middle and end with sentence strips. You can study the characters traints - adjectives etc.
